Polyplus HTP® and White Lightning HTP®

Traditional galvanized high tensile wire fencing is dangerous for horses because it can act like a cheese grater and slice a horses legs if they become entrapped in it. A great alternative is Centaur HTP's two products: the non-electrified PolyPlus HTP® and the electrified White Lightning HTP®. They are both polymer coated high tensile wire fencing specifically designed for horses. Because the high tensile wire is coated with polymer, it is more visible to horses and helps protect a horses legs if the horse gets his leg through the fence.

PolyPlus HTP® - a polymer coated high tensile wire fence that is non-electrified.

12.5 gauge high tensile wire on the inside, embedded in a tough HTP® Polymer coating, the same coating as the Centaur HTP® 5" rail.

Outside diameter - 5/16" inch, thicker than most generic name products.

Minimum breaking strength per strand is 1400 lbs.

2X stronger than braided rope

White Lightning - an electrified polymer coated high tensile wire fence

Nearly identical to PolyPlus HTP®, White Lightning HTP® conducts electric and is also coated with polymer to help protect horses. Colors available are white, brown and black.

Conducts electricity - 4 safety-shock points

12 1/2 gauge high tensile wire on the inside, embedded in a tough HTP® Polymer coating, the same coating as the Centaur HTP® 5" rail.

Outside diameter - 5/16" inch, thicker than most generic name products.
